A Life of Faith and Service: Farewell to Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai

Yesterday, I joined Nigerians from all walks of life to pay our last respects to a great man of God, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia. It was a solemn yet deeply inspiring gathering - one that reflected the breadth of lives he touched and the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

Rev. Dr Ukpai was not only a preacher of the Word but a living embodiment of it, marked by humility, compassion, and commitment to the service of God and humanity. His life was a testament to faith in action, as he laboured tirelessly to uplift souls, strengthen families, and guide communities along the path of righteousness.

As we bid him farewell, we do so with gratitude to God for a life well spent and for the countless seeds of faith he sowed, which will continue to bear fruit for generations to come.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. -PO
