My Sympathy visit to the Kano Singer Market and the Mazaf Holdings Warehouse.

Yesterday, Sunday, 8 February, I travelled to Kano to commiserate with traders at Singer Market and the Mazaf Warehouse, which were destroyed by fire. Such a disaster at this time can be devastating. Mazaf Holdings is one of the largest Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies in Nigeria, representing many multinational brands operating in the country.

The fire incident resulted in the destruction of goods worth billions of naira.

I thank the Kano State Government for its visit and support, as well as Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for his visit and support. I will also contribute in my own little way.

I also intend to visit other facilities that have suffered similar incidents in recent times but which I was unable to visit earlier due to unavoidable circumstances at the time of the incidents.

A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
