Yesterday, Friday, 27 February, I joined other notable Nigerians, including Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and his Deputy, Sir John Onyeme, as well as former Governors James Ibori and Ifeanyi Okowa. Serving and former members of the National and State Assemblies, and other dignitaries, to attend the funeral Mass of the late distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Ibusa. Delta State.

We paid our last respects to the distinguished Senator, who served as a senator representing Delta North.

May God Almighty who called him home grant him eternal rest in His kingdom and grant his family and all who mourn him the fortitude to bear his irreplaceable loss. -PO
